Daily Mile Initiative

St Clare's School is going the extra mile!
On Thursday 7th November we started our Daily Mile initiative. Each class is encouraged to walk or run a mile every day, at any time during the day. It is a great way of promoting a healthier lifestyle, and it is fun too. Here are Ms Doyle's class, in action!

Gymnastics

Ms Doyle's class really enjoyed their gymnastics lessons. Unfortunately, these lessons have now finished. But now we get to start our swimming lessons! Swimming starts tomorrow, Friday, and we are looking forward to getting to swim with all our friends.

Every School Day Counts

Congratulations to Nicole Lin, Malha and Olivia, from Ms Doyle's class, winners in the Every School Day Counts Art Competition. Very well done to Malha and Olivia, who were overall Category Winners. They were presented with their prizes in the hall today. Beautiful prizes girls, well done!!

Hallowe'en

Urns

Fourth Class have been studying Ancient Greece.
Ms Burns' Class painted pictures of Greek Urns.

Cars

Miss Burns' Fourth Class have been learning about modes of transport. We made toy cars with axles. We raced the cars using a fan. The orange car won!
