Christmas Carol Singing🎄

 On Thursday 15th December 2022 Mr. Walsh's and Ms. Byrd's 5th Class went to the library to sing carols and spread Christmas cheer. 

The girls were fantastic and had a brilliant time. Thanks to all the parents and family that came out to see us.

 📚 World Book Day Dress Up! 📚

 This February we've been doing some arts and crafts on 4th class. We made St.Brigid's crosses and roses for Valentine's day.

 

 The Vikings Are Coming!

4th class have been learning all about the Vikings and their influence on Irish life.

Fourth class all dressed in spooky costumes for Halloween. We hope everybody has a great mid-term.

October in 4th Class

 In fourth class in October we have been very busy. Learning and reciting a new poem. We also studied the Ancient Greeks and looked at their pottery. We drew and painted modern versions of the Greek Urn.

Mrs Clarke's 4th class had great fun during the week learning all about space and then designing our own kites.

Maths is Fun in 4th class!

 Some people say 4th class is tough but not for us!

We have been using lots of hands on materials 

to blast our way through 4th class maths!

Enjoying the sunshine

 4th class took full advantage of the good weather recently

 and brought our learning outside!

Pet Farm

 Last week the Pet Farm came to St Clare's! We really enjoyed going out to see the animals. There were pigs, sheep, lambs, goats, kids, a pony, chickens, bearded dragon, snake, rabbits, guinea pigs and puppies! We were able to hold some of the animals. It was very relaxing after all our tests! We loved it. We wish they would come back another day.
